Consequences of war
After WWII Germany lacked food and supplies due to the harsh weather that brought hard times upon them. Coal was short supply because there weren't many men available for the labor that was needed of it. The lack of materials caused a delay in rebuilding the houses and buildings destroyed. As a result, many families were left homeless. Also, diseases were being passed among each other due to many people sharing a single room and poor sanitation. The Holocaust was also revealed to the world at the end of the war.
